Sorry Max and Charlie... I found a new Buddy. Actually, his name is Buddy. He's a lab/golden retriever mix and we had a blast at the dog park today. He literally had his leash on and was on his way out when we found each other. I convinced his dad to let him stay a little longer, and we munched on each other's cheeks for a good 45 mins. Buddy's dad explained to Mom that he had been there for about 2 hours, but Buddy hadn't found a dog to play with until I arrived. Omigosh I can't understand why no one would want to play with him. He's so fun! And Mom was surprised that I wanted to play with someone (slightly) bigger than me.
I had some serious napping to do once we got home. I'm not sure if you can tell, but I'm really wet and dirty. But, like Mom says, thank God for towels!
Oh, and in case you were wondering, I had a great 4th of July. Mom took me to the dog park for over an hour and a half, and I got really tired. Then when we got home, Mom gave me some sleepy peanut butter. Sure, I slept through most of the festivities, but I also slept through a potty break. Oops!
