"Mom, can I have a beagle?" Oh, how I love them soooo! There two beagles, Max and Charlie, that I just love, love, love. Actually, when Mom took me to the dog park last week, there were like 7 or 8 of them! Can you imagine? 7 or 8 BEAGLES??? Oh, it was heaven. The love to run and play just like I do. They are wonderful playmates. This one time, I was playing with Max and Max's dad said, "Ok, let's go," but we weren't done. We jumped and tumbled and rolled in the dirt. Being the mutt that I am, I was bouncing back and forth in between the pools and the dirt, creating a wonderful thing that Mom calls "mud." Anyway, I kept playing with Max and by the end of the day, Max was as dirty as I was, despite never having stepped paw in the pool. Mom offered Max's dad a car wash and said I was a "bad influence." Whatever that means. But anyway, I would love a beagle of my very own. I would take very, very good care of it! I was even protecting the beagles that weren't mine! Those rottweilers needed to find there own dogs to play with. I called dibs on the beagles. We're not sure if Dad will go for the idea, but it is worth a try!

I looked up at her with my great big puppy dog eyes and asked...

Get her a little Snoopy friend! Every dog needs a friend.
Sorry, I'm a bad influence too.
