Yesterday was a big day! I had my first car ride since I have been in my new home. It was... interesting! The way to "the vet" was a bit long, if you ask me. Once we got to the vet I saw all knds of new friends. There was a 50 pound "bulldog" (let's see, that is about 8 Baileys!), a few things called "cats" and some people. Mom says I'm too little to play with the other animals, but I did like meeting the new people. They told me that I was healthy and chubby in a good way. The vet said that she thinks I am part spaniel and I won't get too big. And did you know that there are two different types of labs? The English ones are squattier and chunkier than the American ones. I have no idea which kind I am. And does it really matter anyway? Look at me! I'm adorable!
Last night was a little better. I was pretty tired when we went to bed, but I don't like being alone in my crate. I sleep in 2 hour long segments, which I know drives Mom and Dad a little crazy. They take turns comforting me when I cry, and taking me out to pee. They say I am being very good about not peeing in my crate. I typically like to get up around 7am, so that will be an adjustment for my folks. But they love me, so it's ok.
I've recently discovered rawhides, and can I tell you something? I LOVE them! I can't finish them, but I sure love going to town! Better buy stock in these things... I'm going eat them ALL when I'm older!
And does anyone know what "booger" means? That's what my Mom keeps calling me...
